Who we are

Millin (“we”, “us”) operates the online store at https://shopmillin.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you browse, shop, or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. You can reach us through our Contact Us page.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Order information – your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, the items you ordered, and any order notes.
  • Account information – if you create a customer account: your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), saved addresses, and order history.
  • Payment information – payments are handled by our payment processor, Square (Block, Inc.). We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of your card, but we do not store your full card number or security code on our servers.
  • Messages and form submissions – information you enter in our contact and corporate-gifts forms (such as your name, email, company, and message). Forms are built with WPForms; submissions are emailed to us and may be stored in our site database.
  • Technical and usage information – IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring website, collected through cookies and similar technologies as described below.
  • Comments – if comments are enabled and you leave one, the details in the comment form plus your IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam.

How we use your information

  • To process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping, issue refunds, and provide customer support.
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and replies to your inquiries.
  • To operate and secure the site, prevent fraud and spam, and meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, using aggregated analytics (only where you have allowed analytics cookies).
  • To send marketing email, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the store to work (for example, to keep items in your cart and keep you signed in) and, with your consent, cookies that help us measure site usage. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button. Each cookie, its purpose, and its duration are listed in our Cookie Policy.

Analytics and advertising technologies. With your permission, we use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and we may use advertising or marketing technologies, to understand how visitors use our site, measure how our content and campaigns perform, and show relevant advertising. These tools use cookies or similar technologies and send information about your visit to the provider, such as your IP address and device and browser details. We do not load them until you accept. We keep analytics data for a limited period, which is currently 14 months in Google Analytics.

Your choices. You can accept, reject, or change your choices at any time using the cookie banner or the cookie settings button on any page. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to reject non-essential cookies.

Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to learn how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages and products are viewed and how many orders are completed). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as approximate location, device and browser details, and the pages you visit. We do not share your name, email address, or order contents with Google. If you do not consent, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. You can learn more about how Google handles data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out across all sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Order source tracking

When you visit our store we note the website or campaign that brought you here, the page you arrived on, and when. We keep this in a cookie called wpec_source for up to 90 days and, if you place an order, save it with your order so we can see which of our channels work. It does not include your IP address or identify you on other websites.

Who we share your information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the store, and only as needed for them to do so:

  • Payment processing: Square (Block, Inc.), which processes your card details under its own privacy policy (squareup.com/legal/privacy).
  • Shipping and delivery: UPS and USPS, who receive your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order.
  • Website hosting and email delivery: our hosting provider, Hostinger, and our email delivery tools (WP EasyCart for order emails and WP Mail SMTP for sending site email).
  • Analytics: Google, as described above and only with your consent.
  • Security and spam-protection services, and professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers) where required.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers or others. If Millin is involved in a merger or sale, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos or reviews from other websites). Embedded content behaves in the same way as if you had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Media

If you upload images to this site, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download images from the site and extract any location data they contain.

How long we retain your information

  • Order and invoice records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (typically up to seven years).
  • Customer account information is kept until you ask us to delete the account, except for what we must retain by law.
  • Form submissions and customer-service messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward.
  • Comments and their metadata are kept until deleted, so follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically.
  • Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, the period configured in our Google Analytics property.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, and other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, receive a copy, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our Contact Us page. If you have an account, you can also view and update your details from your account page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we cannot delete information we are legally required to keep. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through the cookie settings button.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and payment processing through PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States, and our service providers (including Google) may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children’s privacy

Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be noted on this page.
